Britt McHenry was a commentator for Fox News and has sued her former employer and her co-host, former wrestler George Murdoch, alleging that Murdoch sexually harassed her by making sexually inappropriate comments to her, in person and via text-message. She alleges that when she made these complaints to the network, they ignored her, punished her and not her harasser, stripped her of professional opportunities and rewarded Murdoch. The suit also claims that Fox conducted a “sham investigation” into these allegations and that evidence was manufactured against her, including doctoring pictures.
This is not the first time that very public allegations have been brought against Fox News for harassment and it will be interesting to see how the network handles this lawsuit.
