Fans Sue Madonna over Late Miami Concerts

Madonna, the queen of pop, has upset some of her Miami concert fans.  In fact, multiple class action lawsuits have been filed against her related to her December 2019 Miami residency.

The concerts were initially scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.  After tickets were sold, the start time was moved to 10:30 p.m.  Some ticket holders were no longer saying that they were “Crazy for You.”  The ticket holders were upset that they would have to stay at a concert until 1:00 a.m. and tried to get a refund from Live Nation after the start time was changed, but were not successful.

Madonna has a history of tardiness.  A recent show in Las Vegas was scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m., but Madonna did not take the stage until 12:30 a.m.  It appears that “What happens in Vegas” does not stay in Vegas, as she continued this behavior elsewhere.  Instead of apologizing or providing an explanation, Madonna decided to “Express Herself” and simply stated, “Here’s something that you all need to understand.  And that is, that a queen is never late.” Here’s video of that statement.

One of the class action lawsuits also alleged that the ticketholders were unaware that they would have to put their cell phones away during the concert.  Madonna is likely not too concerned about the class action lawsuits.  She will continue to play her “Music” to packed houses.
